There is a list of local media on our Emergency School Closures & Delays page. You can also

Food
Free School Lunch Program
Hoover qualifies for schoolwide free lunch. There are no fees for lunch and/or breakfast. However, we do require that
everyone completes a yearly application.
All students eat breakfast in their classrooms. Most students will eat their lunch in the cafeteria (although two classrooms
will need to pick up their lunch in the cafeteria and then return to their classroom to eat).
If your child participates in the afterschool programs here at Hoover they will be given a snack (supper) for that time as well.
If you wish to eat with your child: adult breakfasts are $1.50 and adult lunches are $3.00. They can be purchased through
the cafeteria.
Kindergarten students will be provided a lunch/snack in their classroom.
